The development and marketing from Guadeloupe of connected street furniture, allowing the recharging of electronic devices running on solar energy.
Practical and ecological structures
In 2018, ETSOL ENGINEERING was created in Guadeloupe by Manuel Debar-Monclair and his young associates with the objective of promoting the use of renewable energy, starting with solar energy, which is abundant in tropical latitudes. The activity of this Caribbean start-up is focused on the design and development of autonomous energy solutions that meet the specific needs of island areas. After the release and the experimentation in an event context, in particular during festivals, of a first station of autonomous recharging of the portable devices, ETSOL ENGINEERING wishes to widen and improve its range of products. Its trademark is based on the use of green energies, with the constant concern to value the territories and the local know-how.
It is in this spirit that an intelligent urban furniture was conceived, intended for companies in the fields of tourism, trade, media and telecommunications, as well as for local authorities. In addition to supplying energy, this “hot spot wifi” type structure is similar to a public information point with screens designed for both advertising and practical information. This digital solution combines commercial utility and environmental responsibility. It is a great alternative to the huge 4X3 billboards that abound on the roadsides of the islands and territories of the Caribbean arc.
“Today, environmental awareness is growing and companies and public services are looking to adopt more sustainable practices. This also means rethinking their visual communication, opting for digital media that are more environmentally friendly than traditional advertising media.”
