Snazzybird LTD
Elegant and durable furniture to promote the circular economy of furniture
Maanav Patel
Snazzybird is a furniture brand that redefines interior spaces by offering elegant and sustainable quality in the face of a highly polluting furniture industry.
Always a student and entrepreneur committed to the circular economy
Snazzybird, well named: building your nest with materials present in nature, as birds do, does not prevent elegance. It is in this logic that two years ago, in his garage, Maanav Patel, a senior student at the University of Nottingham, embarked on the construction of his first piece of furniture: a walnut shell coffee table from a factory. This first experience encouraged him to innovate with new materials and on a larger scale. In addition to the nut shells, the young man uses for example cork from waste from wine bottling plants.

Based on the fact that the furniture industry designs furniture that is not sustainable and harmful to the environment, the young start-up, resolutely committed, has built its business model around the circular economy. It also intends to mobilize a community around the issues of the sector and change consumer behaviour. Snazzybird offers a choice of elegant furniture, based on natural and recycled materials at affordable prices and is meant to be completely transparent on the entire manufacturing chain.
“I am determined to achieve my goal of ensuring that no furniture ends up in landfills. I embrace the dream that we can all build our interiors using original materials directly from nature while cultivating charm and elegance.”
